This modem support 7.2 mbps download speed and 5.7 mbps upload speed.
On Bsnl Network (Kanyakumari Nagarcoil) With 76% Signal Strength I am getting around 5.5 Mbps Download Speed And 2Mbps Upload Speed.
While Getting Modem Its Not Supporting Video/Voice Calls After updating Firmware it is possible .
The Modem Cost in Local Market is in between 2800 to 3000.
This modem is Original Huawei brand so we can trust . I hop it never make problem like local china made .
It is very easy to plug n play the device . i tested device on windows7 64bit pc .
It works fine automatically install window appear just need to click next button after that the "mobile partner " application software fro modem will appeared . After that Go Tools>option>Profile Management click new and "name profile " give "BSNLNET" as static apn and save set default your profile and click ok.
After that go Connection and select your profile and click CONNECT.
In The application software You can make voice/video calls USSD /SMS/MMS.
It will track daily/hour/data based usage .
I dono how to connect to network.I bought a new device e173.plug n play got installed.but if i connect my airtel connection its not getting connected,telling connection terminated
ReplyDeletecheck sim in ur handset if it is working then only u can use with this modem . . . IF it working in mobile then in mobilepatner )pc( go profile mgmt and create a new profile with proper apn used in handset. . . Then it will works

The device is nice but I have faced a peculiar problem. I have a 2G data connection with vodafone, during last month A lot of FLASH SMS was done through my devices without my knowledge. Can any body help me about this
