No More Unlimited STV Plane in BSNL 2G and 3G

BSNL just sweeped its unlimited 2G and 3G service plans. The unlimited plans are valid till 18 February, 2011. After 18 February, the new tariff would be implemented in effect. BSNL has changed all data usage charges of all data and voice plans running now. Some of the plans with there changed tariffs are:
  • The currently Running 2G service having price Rs. 249 per month has been revised to only 6 GB from unlimited.
  • The existing 3G service having its rate Rs. 1359 per month has been changed to 15 GB free data usage from unlimited.
  • The existing 3G service having its rate Rs. 1500 per month has been revised to 15 GB data usage from unlimited.
  • The existing 3G service worth Rs. 2720 per month has been revised to 35 GB free data usage from unlimited.

These revised plans would come in change after 18th Feb, 2011 with the additional usage charges from null to Rs. 0.02 per 10KB. The above plans have been excluded from the service tax. Service tax would be charged additionally.
